Job Summary:As a Business Development Representative at Soothsayer Analytics, you will be at the forefront of our growth efforts in the Middle East, responsible for the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals and beyond. This is a heavily onsite, customer-facing role where you will engage directly with clients across the region, present our AI solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events across the Middle East.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase Soothsayer's AI solutions, including consulting, training, and product development services.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with Soothsayer's business goals.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle: Take ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting and needs assessment to closing and post-sales support.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent post-sales service, ensuring that clients are satisfied with their solutions and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
- Trade Shows and Conferences: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events throughout the Middle East to represent Soothsayer Analytics, generate leads, and expand the company's presence in the region.
- Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships within the industry, particularly within the Middle East, to expand Soothsayer's client base and influence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical, and product development teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and Soothsayer's offerings.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the technology or AI sector, with a focus on the Middle East market. Experience working specifically in the UAE and KSA markets will be a significant advantage.
- The qualified candidate is expected to have a strong network of prospects and industry contacts in the UAE and KSA, which will be instrumental in driving business development efforts.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex AI solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales management tools, and a basic understanding of AI concepts and technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals across the Middle East, particularly in the UAE and KSA.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
