Sales Manager GCC

As a Sales Manager GCC, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the GCC markets by developing and executing a sales strategy that targets key market segments. Your goal will be to achieve annual revenue targets through aggressive solicitation of business from leisure and MICE markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with colleagues in the market to shape and implement a sales strategy for the GCC markets, ensuring revenue growth in the portfolio.
  • Contribute to the annual sales plan with market insights, sales strategy, sales tactics, and a comprehensive overview of the market plan for the subsequent year.
  • Facilitate cyclical sales activities relevant to the region and maintain frequent contact frequency with all tour operator, OTA, and DMC partners.
  • Plan a calendar of business travel in line with market seasonality, our planning cycle, and cyclical market events such as DCT events, client events, and corporate roadshows.
  • Identify and contract new business partners for the company.
  • Conduct DMC and partner product training and educational webinars.
  • Drive lead conversion and initiate new revenue streams through innovation in distribution, product development, and joint marketing activities.
  • Work in liaison with the Yas Concierge Team to maximize conversion of all sales leads.
  • Engage in domestic and international sales missions and trade shows to raise awareness and consideration.
  • Conduct review meetings with partners to monitor market performance, joint marketing activity performance (where applicable), and make recommendations for change based on performance and learnings.
  • Work in conjunction with colleagues in the market to communicate all relevant marketing campaigns to the region, relevant to maximizing reach of our B2C activity through the B2B channels.
  • Effectively use the CRM system for daily reporting, tracking leads, and other functions as requested.
  • Work with the Sales Operations Team to ensure contracting for the GCC market is carried out annually ahead of schedule for the following year.
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history. Work to solve partner challenges through liaison with the Product and Packaging Team, Yas Concierge Team, and IT.
  • Provide responsive (within 24 hours) support to GCC market colleagues and all partners as and when required.
  • Track sales expenses and submit them in a timely fashion for reimbursement.
  • Negotiate prices and discounts in consultation with the GCC Country Director.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
