At Ventures Middle East, we're on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on the role of Expansion Opportunities Specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand our market presence in the construction industry.

The primary responsibility of this position is to sell our MEA Construction Projects Database to key players in the construction sector and meet or exceed assigned revenue targets. To achieve this, you will develop and implement strategies to target potential clients and partners, conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities, and use your findings to guide business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop and execute plans to expand our market reach and increase sales revenue.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless support for business development efforts.
  • Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to provide regular updates and insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Technology: Proficiency in CRM software and other business tools, with familiarity with project management and industry-specific software being an advantage.
