The Development & Partnerships Unit Head is a key role within Al Nahiya Group, responsible for leading the delivery and implementation of the corporate fundraising and partnerships strategy. This strategic position aims to increase revenue targets through the development and management of partnerships and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Development & Partnerships Manager to develop and implement medium and long-term plans for the Development & Partnerships unit, aligning with Al Nahiya Group's vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Proposal Development: Support the Development & Partnerships Manager in writing and editing proposals, ensuring compliance with Al Nahiya Group's strategy and trademark guidelines.
- Financial Management: Manage the department's budget and identify new revenue streams with commercial organizations.
- Market Analysis: Monitor the market's status and adjust the strategy accordingly by diversifying engagement offerings to the corporate community.
- Negotiations and Contracts: Engage in commercial negotiations with prospects and liaise with the legal team to prepare relevant contracts.
- External Communications: Assist in managing external communications and develop relations with donor partners, business contacts, journalists, public officials, government regulators, and investors, ensuring the creation and growth of a positive public image for Al Nahiya Group.
- Event Management: Oversee access to Al Nahiya Group's spaces for private and government entities to organize events, in line with the commercial policy of the organization, and oversee the execution of external events in collaboration with the event implementation team.
- Performance Management: Provide performance management, career development guidance, and development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for direct reports.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure operational excellence in achieving KPIs, working towards establishing a sustainable financial model by achieving any set financial targets and driving internal process improvement and efficiency.
- Brand Ambassador: As a brand ambassador, the role holder will consider the customer prospective in all projects, working to understand and manage all stakeholders.
- Leadership: As a leader, the role holder will create learning opportunities by collaboration, transfer of knowledge, or developing employees in respective areas, driving employee engagement and growth across the organization.
- Minimum Experience Requirements: 8-10 years of post-graduate experience managing fundraising and partnership programs for a museum, cultural institution, or non-profit organization.
- Management Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a management role, including leading and managing people.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English. French would be an added value.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related disciplines.
