About the Role:

Jumeirah is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Sales Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion for our hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure comprehensive coverage of your portfolio and achieve sales targets.
  • Sales and Business Development: Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage to client contacts, and establish a client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and corporate businesses.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options, and stay up-to-date on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments, and attend industry and association networking events to broaden commercial contacts.
  • Client Satisfaction and Retention: Follow up with clients regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales and business development success in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and sales principles.
