**Role overview**:
To effectively manage / process the end to end operations of Securities Service (SSV) Operations including settlements, payments, foreign exchange, corporate actions, Finance functions and Management Information reporting.

To provide support to the locations where SSV operations is offshored

Be seen as a key contributor in driving change in the market, improve service delivery and assist in expanding SSV HBME Oman market share.

Identify opportunities for innovation based on client feedback and ensure that we remain their preferred choice of custodian.

Assist SSV Head of Ops HBME Oman in all Operational business continuity tasks and support with maintaining excellent relationship with all relevant stakeholders.

To manage the anticipated changes in the market infrastructure.

To back-up for Operations team as and when needed and also participate in client due diligence visits, RFPs, client risk reviews etc.

**Principal responsibilities**
- Be seen as a key contributor in driving change in the market in line with client needs and international best practice
- To implement efficient internal processes
- To contribute to the Banks' Performance Culture
- Ensure full client satisfaction and achievement of agreed service standards
- Proactively act to improve services on client feedback on services and products
- Contribute to staff mobility and experience
- Audit, risk management and compliance conformity

Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of Securities markets, with 2-4 years of work experience in particular custody business
- Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
- Knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
- Working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good presentation and analytical skills with an achievement-oriented approach to business
