We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to lead the development and implementation of the Mortgage sales & distribution strategy and drive business growth and customer penetration in UAE WPB customer base. The jobholder provides expertise, planning, support and development to the business to achieve strategic goals of UAE WPB. In addition to business development, the jobholder provides inputs on product enhancement, performance, product strategy and risk framework within the operating environment

**In this role you will be**:

- Provide expertise and analysis on UAE Home Finance via support, planning and co-ordination of market objectives to grow the business.
- Ensure a sales culture that is in line with HBME’s business objectives and compliance requirements
- Alignment of all relevant support functions to the vision and strategic goals of the Mortgage business
- Liaison with all relevant areas in ascertaining a clear picture of the operating environment; legal, regulatory and competitive environment
- Lead, in conjunction with Legal, Credit Risk Management and WPB, commercial negotiations with new Developers for the supply chain. On-going review of current commercial agreements to perfect HBME’s security position
- Maintain external third party relationship management; Government, Developers, Legal, Regulators, Financial Institutions, Competitors, Valuation agencies, Referral partners, Insurance providers, etc
- Drive cross-referral opportunities for WPB by connecting with key stakeholders (Branches, Premier, Wealth, Auto, EBS)
- Create a motivational atmosphere by developing, directing & supporting staff members in the distribution and support areas (Service Delivery)
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**
- Bachelor Degree is mandatory to secure UAE Visa
- Relevant experience in local Mortgage Regulations
- Commercial awareness and ability to keep abreast of competitors and market trend
- Proven experience in leading a sales team
- Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
