**About the role**
The Flat6labs Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the business development efforts for Flat6Labs’ corporate service offerings, which includes accelerator and innovation programs within the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region. The role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, developing proposals and achieving sales targets to drive business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to promote and sell Flat6Labs’ offerings in the GCC region, assist in setting financial targets for budget development, and monitor progress towards these goals.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position Flat6Labs’ offerings, provide market intelligence to senior management, and make recommendations on potential business opportunities and partnerships.
- Proactively identify and generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold-calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships. These include but are not limited to corporates, governmental entities and educational institutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations, understanding their business needs, and presenting tailored solutions to address those needs.
- Create persuasive presentations and deliver compelling pitches to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our corporate services.
- Develop customized proposals and pricing models based on client requirements and objectives. This includes designing and developing new revenue-generating activities and startup programs.
- Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, and effectively closing sales deals. Manage contract agreements, including legal and financial aspects.
- Work closely with both internal teams and GCC offices, including program management, marketing, and operations, to ensure smooth delivery of projects and successful client onboarding.
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for management and partners. Prepare regular sales reports, forecast revenue projections, and provide timely updates to senior management on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovation practices in the GCC region, positioning our offerings as cutting-edge and relevant solutions
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management roles, preferably within the GCC region. Experience selling corporate accelerator programs or innovation services is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of the GCC business landscape, including knowledge of key industries, market trends, and cultural nuances within the region.
- Established network of contacts and relationships with key decision-makers, industry influencers, and potential clients in the GCC region.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex sales deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
- A passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and the startup ecosystem. Ability to articulate the value of corporate accelerator programs and innovation initiatives to potential clients.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, identify business opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision. A proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is required. Excellent communication skills.
