**The Role**:
Edgematics is looking for a **Channel Sales Manager** to join our team.
As a Talend Master VARs (MVAR), Edgematics is now actively recruiting Indirect Value-Added Resellers (IVARs) across the Middle East and Egypt region to implement and manage Big Data infrastructures in the cloud or on-premises and will be leading data-driven strategies with Talend, in conjunction with their partners to achieve substantial success. Edgematics is also looking to establish a channel partner ecosystem in the EMEA region to promote it All-in-One Analytics as a Service offering that combines enterprise-grade features of a Cloud Data Warehouse, Data Integration, Search & AI Analytics and Data Science - all in single platform.
As a Channel Manager you will focus on building key strategic partnerships with Systems Integrators and value-added resellers with Data and Analytics domain experience across EMEA. You’ll actively develop the territory in collaboration with Sales and Marketing to achieve the overall number while being responsible and accountable for a run rate business across the region. This important position will be the foundation of our channel strategy and will help recruit future team members including channel sales and enablement as the business grows. Your ability to work independently, as well as, transition to leadership will be important skills to demonstrate.
You’ll develop and document a territory plan that results in revenue growth through business partners and execute the plan to generate the appropriate pipeline and sales volume. You’ll leverage partner resources to close new opportunities and grow the install base. This role will be responsible for the overall channel revenue number of 3 million USD, generated from the partners for the appropriate products and services. This role will conduct and support business partners on Initial discovery, Product presentations, Product Demos, Proposal submission and contract negotiations, Join Marketing execution in conjunction with Internal Marketing, Sales, Pre-sales and Delivery teams.

- Sell Talend’s comprehensive enterprise data solutions via prospecting and relationship building with channel partners and direct prospecting across the ME region.
- Sell Edgematics’ AaaS via prospecting and relationship building with channel partners and direct prospecting across the EMEA.
- Drive successful pipeline growth through indirect and direct business development.
- Understand and effectively communicate Edgematics’ Value Proposition, focussing on business outcomes and value for the customer.
- Ability to build trusted rapport with CXO level customer contacts, partners and colleagues alike.
- Insightful and strategic territory planning which focuses in building a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically through varied sales stages to closure, while mitigating risk and maximizing upside
- Manage forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using company standard CRM tools
- Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business
- Meet and exceed your assigned sales quota and performance objectives
- Continue to build your personal skillset - you can never learn enough
**Ideal Qualifications**:
- 7-10 years of successful quota carrying enterprise software and services sales through VARs, Partners and / or GSIs.
- Demonstrated market knowledge of competitive opportunities in the ME region
- Background of exceptional quota attainment in enterprise SaaS sales
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
- Ability to develop and execute short
- and long-term business plans and manage a pipeline with multiple partners.
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with C-level executives and other decision-makers.
