Channel Partner Manager

We empower businesses with accurate and up-to-date geographical data to enhance their operations, optimize decision-making, and improve customer experiences.
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative **Channel Partner Manager** to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with our channel partners, empowering them to effectively sell and support URBI products and services. You will work closely with our partners to develop joint business plans, provide training and support, and drive mutual growth. Your efforts will contribute to expanding URBI's presence and market share through our network of channel partners.
**What you are going to do**:
- **Channel Partner Engagement**: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and value-added partners. Develop strong relationships with existing partners to ensure their engagement and commitment to URBI's business objectives
- **Business Planning**:Collaborate with channel partners to create joint business plans that outline sales targets, marketing strategies, and growth objectives. Align partner goals with URBI's sales and business development strategies
- **Sales Enablement**: Provide training and resources to channel partners to equip them with the knowledge and tools required to effectively position and sell URBI solutions. Conduct regular product training sessions and sales workshops
- **Support and Collaboration**: Act as the main point of contact for channel partners, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs promptly. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure partners have access to the necessary resources, marketing materials, and technical support
- **Performance Monitoring**: Track and analyze the performance of channel partners against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets. Provide insights and recommendations to partners for improvement and growth
- **Marketing and Promotions**:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop joint marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive demand for URBI products through channel partners. Support partners in executing marketing activities.
- **Relationship Building**: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders within channel partner organizations. Understand their business strategies and collaborate on mutually beneficial opportunities
- **Market Insights**:Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments related to geospatial technology and location-based solutions. Share relevant insights with channel partners to enhance their sales strategies
- **Negotiations and Contracts**:Collaborate with legal and finance teams to negotiate partner agreements, pricing, and contract terms. Ensure that agreements align with both parties' interests
- **Feedback Loop**:Gather feedback from channel partners on product enhancements, customer needs, and market demands. Communicate partner feedback internally to contribute to product development and improvement
**What we expect**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in channel partner management, business development, or sales, preferably in technology or software solutions with 5+ years of experience
- Strong understanding of channel sales strategies, partner ecosystems, and indirect sales models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to foster relationships at various levels within partner organizations
- Analytical skills to track partner performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed
