About the Role

The Manager Group Sales is responsible for leading the team of Groups & Events and ensuring the successful reactive sales and event management of Conference and Incentive programs and/or domestic and international Weddings, Conference and Banqueting functions and Private Events. This covers all aspects from quotation, contracting, coordinating, planning, communication of requirements and final billing settlement of all groups and banqueting and conferencing functions.

About You

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a 4 or 5-star environment and hold a Diploma or Qualification in Hospitality Management. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential, along with leadership abilities to motivate, train, and manage a team on a daily basis. The role requires ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations and guidelines. A solid understanding of Revenue Management principles and drivers is important, as well as previous experience in sales.
