MAIN PURPOSE

The Events coordinator is responsible for supporting the PR and Events Strategy in line with the regional objectives, HQ guidelines and the defined budget all to maximize the brands exposure/visibility and build the brands image:

  • Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of regional PR & events strategy
  • Event Management: Assist and execute event concepts in line with HQ guidelines and local relevancy
  • Local Activation: Develop individual and integrated activation plans for each market and execute throughout the year
  • Budget: Control and optimize A&P budget for Events and Boutique activations
  • Agency/Partner Management: Build strong relationships with agencies and partners
  • Sustainability: Champion sustainability initiatives in coordination with Global objectives

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Events / Activations

  1. Events
  • Assist in organizing event calendar in the region
  • Assist in creating concepts in line with sales objectives and HQ guidelines
  • Execute events in the region for internal boutiques, press events and in coop with retailers
  • Liaise and coordinate for a 360 degrees approach of the marketing activations
  • Coordinate with commercial & Marketing team the products requirements for the events to guarantee sales results.
  • Source and coordinate all operations with vendors and suppliers
  • Make sure the VM and planogram are as per brand guideline and validate with VM manager
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Make sure all invoices are received, approved and sent to the finance and coordinate all necessary invoicing between suppliers and Finance department
  • Create post event reports and track results and ROI
  • Site inspections/visits of the proposed venues aligned with IWC standards
  1. Boutique Activations
  • Create a yearly calendar of boutique activations to guarantee clients' satisfaction upon retail team needs
  • Suggest immersive customer experience aligned with brand DNA and guidelines
  • Propose design, mood board aligned with product launch/event's theme
  • Manage the implementation and brief the retail teams
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Make sure all invoices are received, approved and sent to the finance and coordinate all necessary invoicing between suppliers and Finance department
  • Create post activation reports and measure results and ROI

Gifts

  • Implement gifting strategy aligned with client segmentation
  • Responsible for the yearly gift order with HQ
  • Respect the yearly budget
  • In charge of the gifts dispatch in the region

PR

  • Assist in the WW organization
  • Assist during photoshoots / product placements

Sustainability

  • Take the role of Sustainability Champion
  • Attend all meetings required with HQ
  • Champion initiatives
  • Make sure team members are informed involved and KPIs met
  • Measure with available tools the progress and initiatives following every activity and event

Education:

Third year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required experience:

1-2 years' experience in a similar role preferably in luxury goods industry

Languages Ability:

Fluent English (written and spoken)

French and Arabic are a plus.
