Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods in adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Assist in developing new pastry items and innovative recipes while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior pastry chefs and commis, ensuring a smooth workflow within the pastry section.
  • Ensure efficient stock control, ordering, and inventory management for pastry ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef and culinary team to plan menus, special events, and special orders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new methods and ingredients to enhance pastry offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience (5 years) working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a highvolume, upscale establishment.
  • Indepth knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, with a strong understanding of flavor profiles and presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and train junior staff members.
  • A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional pastry experiences.
  • Certification from a culinary institute or relevant education in pastry arts is preferred.

Pay:
Up to AED2,500.00 per month
