  • Keeping detailed and current financial records, managing journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
  • Processing the monthly employee payroll using WPS (Wages Protection System).
  • Conducting the monthly closing of the accounting book.
  • Providing sales and financial reports to HQ and relevant personnel.
  • Handling vendor payments and overseeing Accounts Payable by receiving, processing, and monitoring aging AP.
  • Validating processed work by checking entries and comparing system reports.
  • Managing expense reports for employee reimbursements.
  • Handling petty cash disbursements by recording entries and validating documentation.
  • Recording sales transactions, including cash, checks, and credit card payments.
  • Reconciling sales data in the ERP system with ticketing, bank, and payment gateway providers.
  • Investigating and resolving account discrepancies by gathering information from sales, trade promotions, customer service, and customers.
  • Summarizing receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfers, verifying totals, and preparing reports.
  • Staying updated on accounting principles, suggesting enhancements to processes and systems.
  • Offering proactive support for operational activities when needed.
Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance.
  • Proficient in accounting software like Oracle or QuickBooks.
  • Over 5 years of experience in an accounting-related role.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
