Roles and responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Investigates and resolves softwareproblems on AU computer systems; performs software repairs,maintenance, technical assistance, and support on various PC-basedcomputers and peripherals.
  • Provides technicalassistance, support, and troubleshooting in resolving systemcommunications failures and conflicts.
  • Providesgeneral and in-depth guidance, assistance, and support to users ondiverse software/applications and operating systems asrequested.
  • maintains a high standard ofcustomer service in dealing with and responding toquestions.
  • Performs routine, day-to-dayhardware and software maintenance as assigned and assists inutilization of systems.
  • Work on the ordersuntil completion or escalate to the senior technicalsupport.
  • Restore and configure many PCs via theImage backup solutions created by senior technicalsupport.
  • Follow up and fully documentindividual cases via helpdesk software.
  • ProvideTechnical support to users’ PCs/Devices that may requireaccess to critical/confidential data.
  • Providetechnical support on IT equipment during events, seminars,workshops, and video conferences
  • Resolveusers’ technical issues assigned through thehelpdesk.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-relatedduties as assigned.
  • Detail-oriented with acommitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Adaptableand able to thrive in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • Strong work ethic andreliability.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assistwith administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and recordmaintenance.
  • Support the scheduling andcoordination of events and activities forstudents.
  • Answer inquiries from students andprovide information on services andresources.
  • Maintain organized documentation andassist in preparing reports.
  • Collaborate withfaculty and staff to support student programs andinitiatives.

Previousexperience in an administrative or secretarialrole.
Familiarity with office procedures andadministrative tasks.
