What your day willlook like
- Build strategic relationships withIHV partners at levels
- Grow their awareness ofopen source capabilities on CanonicalUbuntu
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of theLinux and cloud software ecosystem
- Negotiatecontracts and commercial businessterms
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of largeand complex organizations
- Lead partnershipswith global accounts such as IBM, Samsung, DellEMC, HPE, Nokiaetc.
- Work closely with marketing, salesengineering and product management
- Deliver ontargets, objectives and provide a voice of thepartner
- Lead executive interlocks between IHVand Canonical leadership
- Travel regularly -sometimes internationally - to drive partnerships inperson
Whatwe are looking for in you
- Experience in alliance or indirectsales management roles
- Autonomous, disciplined,hands-on, get-it-done mentality
- Ability tocapture customer requirements, evaluate gaps, identify and createopportunities
- Passionate about Ubuntu productsand mission
- Comfortable in fast-paced and highpressure environments with measurablegoals
- Experience with Linux, virtualization,containers, and other cloudtechnologies.
- Excellent communication andpresentation skills

Your base pay will depend onvarious factors including your geographical location, level ofexperience, knowledge and skills.
