Made for Trade, DMCC is proud to sustain and grow Dubai’s position as the place to be for global trade today and long into the future.Role Summary:The Rewards Specialist will be responsible for managing all payroll related activities including payroll administration, payroll processing and payroll accounting, ensuring smooth payroll process, accurate prefunding, compliance with statutory requirement, internal and external audit requirements and closing of payroll books on time. This role is responsible for the investigation and resolution of payroll associated issues.Additionally, the job holder will be working in support to the Senior Manager – Rewards in the implementation of HR Rewards projects and new HR related initiatives.Responsibilities:
Manage the payroll administration, processing and accounting operations and resolve day to day payroll administration and accounting related issues.Review and closely monitor the payroll administration, processing and payment and ensure accurate smooth rollout of payroll.Review, test and analyse the problems and issues in payroll application and resolve the issues.Review the funding requirements, ensure that fund requests are raised accurately and check for funds availability before releasing the payroll/payments.Oversee and ensure closure of payroll books as per agreed timelines.Monitor the bank reconciliation process, analyse transactions and ensure all transactions are accounted.Review and analyse EOSB payment and monthly manual payments prior to processing in Oracle Application.Oversee the MIS and analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits.Oversee month-end payroll reporting required by Finance department and business units,Oversee the month end analysis and bank reconciliations.Manage audit reporting requirements on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.Oversee the employee movement record administration.Review and confirm monthly assignment status change report.Oversee employee benefit administration.Support the Senior Manager – Rewards in maintaining the HR Policies and Procedures, HR Internal Process and Procedures, DMCC Code of Conduct.Contribute to the enhancement of HR Policies and Procedures related to C&B.Provide support and assistance on all audit requirements related to Rewards.Support the Senior Manager – Rewards in strategic planning, development, and implementation of various solutions related to rewards services.Provide full support to the rolling out of yearly salary reviews and variable payments.Provide full support in the yearly renewal implementation of the employees’ health insurance.Support the Senior Manager – Rewards in conducting / facilitating the job evaluation of roles using the prevailing job evaluation methodology, validation and process.Support the Senior Manager - Rewards in the implementation of HR Rewards projects and new HR related initiatives.Provide support in the execution of the projects according to the project plan to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree; HR Qualifications preferred Job Evaluation Certification PreferredAt least 6-8 years of corporate HR Function experienceMinimum of 5 years experience in payrollOracle Application and Payroll ProcessingJob EvaluationAdvanced ExcelNumeracy SkillsEvaluation SkillsInfluencing SkillsLanguage Skills (Arabic and English)Computer Skills (MS Office applications)Digital CompetenceAccurateDetail Oriented
