Role Summary:
The Head of Brand will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of DMCCs comprehensive brand portfolio, including high-profile real estate and community brands such as Uptown Dubai and Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT).
This role will shape and drive the brand narrative, positioning DMCCs diverse portfolio to resonate across local and international markets. Additionally, the Head of Brand and Content will lead content strategy and production to ensure high-impact engagement with DMCCs audiences and stakeholders, guiding the expansion and alignment of brand presence across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute robust brand strategies for DMCCs real estate and community brands, ensuring they reflect DMCCs vision and elevate brand presence globally.
- Lead initiatives to position DMCC and its sub-brands as industry leaders, aligning brand messaging with broader business objectives.
- Oversee brand guidelines to ensure consistent application across all channels, both online and offline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and senior stakeholders to launch and amplify new brand initiatives and properties within the DMCC portfolio.
- Establish frameworks for creating and developing new brands within DMCCs portfolio, from initial concept through market launch.
- Lead and manage trademarking and intellectual property processes for all brands, coordinating with legal teams and external agencies to secure and protect brand assets.
- Design and oversee content strategies tailored to multiple target audiences, including investors, businesses, and residents, ensuring a cohesive narrative across platforms.
- Drive high-quality content production across diverse channels (websites, social media, email, print, and advertising), maintaining a unified tone and message.
- Manage and grow DMCCs content capacity, sourcing and supervising agencies, freelancers, and in-house content teams as needed to support a dynamic content ecosystem.
- Partner closely with marketing, digital events, and PR teams to integrate brand strategies across campaigns and channels, ensuring a seamless brand experience.
- Ensure brand and content alignment within broader marketing efforts, including event activations, digital campaigns, and public relations, to create cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
- Work in tandem with Corporate Communications to ensure that all messaging across internal and external communications aligns with DMCCs brand strategy.
- Support DMCCs communications initiatives by embedding brand values and voice consistently across all communications touchpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content, creative, and social media professionals, fostering an innovative and collaborative team environment.
- Guide team members growth and performance, encouraging excellence and creativity in all brand and content initiatives.
- Continuously monitor global and regional market trends, identifying opportunities to strengthen DMCCs brand positioning and relevance.
- Innovate and evolve brand campaigns and content to stay ahead of industry trends, enhancing DMCCs engagement with key audiences across markets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Masters degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in brand management and content strategy, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, working withinMarketing and Corporate Communications.
- Proven experience managing complex brand portfolios within real estate, community development, or mixed-use environments.
- Strong knowledge of trademarking, intellectual property management, and legal processes related to brand protection.
- Demonstrated success in brand-building initiatives and content strategy across multiple markets.
