Reservations Sales Coordinator

- Reservation Processing: Promptly and accurately process all reservation requests via telephone, email, online travel agencies (OTAs), and the RESERVE system, adhering to established standards.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities, and services.
- Sales Conversion: Ensure proactive sales conversion through target-based selling strategies and objectives, cross-selling all hotel elements (rooms, food and beverage restaurants, and spa).
- Reservation Conversion: Achieve the highest reservation conversion rate with minimal abandoned calls.
- Sales Attitude: Adopt a sales attitude at all times and maintain awareness of sales opportunities within the hotel.
- Tentative Bookings: Follow up on all tentative bookings from the Sales department to ensure minimal wash to our holding business and verify all bookings are legitimate with guaranteed liabilities.
- Group Attrition: Monitor daily group wash or updates and maintain accurate records with DRS.
- Rate Parity: Ensure rate parity across all booking channels (website, OTAs, GDS, travel agents, etc.).
- Communication: Develop and maintain high-level communication with major business sources and advise the Director of Revenue Strategy as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on conversion, total revenue captured, and up-selling target achievements.
- Group Pre-Arrival: Assist in group pre-arrival processes and prepare group rooming lists when directed.
- Call Management: Manage inbound and outbound calls and leadership responsibilities.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of hotel products and services to provide accurate information to guests.
- Sales and Reservation Skills: Proven sales and reservation skills to meet or exceed sales targets and achieve high reservation conversion rates.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve hotel goals and objectives.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.
