We are seeking a highly skilled Cluster Reservation Agent to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for maximizing room revenue through effective upselling techniques and ensuring that all reservations meet the highest standards of accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Management: Understand and apply revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue, including the conversion of telephone calls into sales and the effective use of upselling techniques.
  • Reservation Management: Handle reservation management, including managing blocks, chasing rooming lists from sales teams and clients, inventory management for groups, and ensuring accurate billing instructions and managing group rate codes.
  • Groups Management: Have a general understanding of groups management, including cut-off dates, blocking, and booking policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all reservations meet the property standards in terms of accuracy of data and guest satisfaction.
  • Technology: Be fully conversant with all market segments and rate plans used across all distribution channels and be flexible in sales techniques through offering the right product to the right customer at the right time.
  • Support: Support the Cluster Reservation Manager with ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous reservation or royal service-related experience required.
  • Skills: Previous Opera Property Manager System experience required. Fluency in verbal and written English and Arabic is required. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
  • Education: Luxury hotel sales experience, having had varied market mix experience.
