Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Manpower Middle East. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food in our hotel outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that food is produced in a visually appealing and appetizing manner, with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
  • Responsible for the quality, freshness, and presentation of all food items served in our hotel outlets.
  • Coordinate kitchen departmental communication among outlet chefs and other departments, including F&B, HR, and Engineering.
  • Control expenses by producing only what is needed, achieving optimal ingredient yield, and preparing items correctly the first time.
  • Build, cost, and implement menus in coordination with senior kitchen management.
  • Share responsibility for food cost, labor cost, ordering, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in controlling departmental expenses and monitoring food cost to meet company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head of Culinary Operations in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
