About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to contribute to the growth and development of our client's human resources department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing daily procedures, reviewing and formulating policies, preparing staff contracts, and developing training initiatives.
They will also assist in planning, developing, and implementing programs to align staff with the strategic goals of the bank.
In addition, they will apply for and follow up on employee visa issues and prepare staff monthly payroll.
Responsibilities- Establish daily procedures for the human resources department in conjunction with local and Head Office policies and procedures.
- Review and formulate policies and procedures for the HR/ Administration department for enhancement.
- Prepare staff contracts, job confirmations, resignations, terminations, etc.
- Brief and orientate new staff on bank's policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs.
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing programs to align staff with the strategic goals of the bank.
- Apply for and follow up on employee visa issues.
- Prepare staff monthly payroll.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of HR experience ideally within a banking or financial services organization.
Local UAE market knowledge would be preferred, but not essential.
Broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development is required.
A positive attitude to delivering quality work for both staff and management is essential.
Bilingual candidates are generally preferred.
