**Job Title:** Bid and Proposal Strategist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Bid and Proposal Strategist to join our team at Via Medica International Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing capture strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and refines capture plans to enable growth in sales
  • Manages bid and proposal activities from identification to award
  • Performs detailed analysis of RFP documents to assess requirements and prepares questions for clarification
  • Strategizes development, including potential team member selection and roles
  • Establishes timed gates for bid/no bid reviews and bid decision reviews
  • Establishes and maintains price to win, including supporting analysis
  • Develops detailed compliance matrices and schedules outlining the entire proposal process through delivery
  • Communicates with the team to ensure understanding of how to price and compile a winning/competitive proposal
  • Assists or leads development of an Executive Summary draft to support the proposal
  • Leads the team through the opportunity as a key point of contact, communicating customer key requirements, customer sensitivities, and potential risks
  • Identifies resources needed to pursue business opportunities and oversees bid strategies, pricing, teaming, and proposal strategies
  • Manages the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award
  • Leads the creation, management, and distribution of targeted in-depth information and analysis of assigned opportunities
  • Identifies, qualifies, researches, builds, and provides detailed analyses of assigned major procurements and programs
  • Develops proposal themes and messages in cooperation with the team
  • Serves as the customer advocate during reviews to bring the voice of the customer into planning and strategy sessions
  • Provides guidance to the proposal team writers in preparing the technical components of the proposal by reviewing initial section outlines to ensure that all RFP requirements are incorporated
  • Establishes templates and standards for proposal look and feel, writing style, and layout with the assistance of the graphics staff

**Additional Responsibilities:

  • Substitutes for other coworkers during their temporary absence and provides guidance, training, and/or assistance to other department personnel
  • Personally responsible for protecting paper records, computer records, and other devices associated with confidential public health information or data
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable UAE labor laws at all times
  • Participates in regular quality audits by ensuring compliance of evidence/documents at all times
  • Required from time to time to undertake other duties of similar nature as reasonably required by the line manager
