Job Summary:

EC Innovations, a leading Language Service Provider, is seeking a Business Development Director to expand its presence in the regulated space. The ideal candidate will have a global outlook, be a go-getter, and possess strong communication skills and IT fluency. This role is responsible for developing a new client acquisition strategy, pursuing and winning new business, and building longer-term strategic relationships in the respective market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow revenue and meet/exceed annual sales quota by building a pipeline of prospective clients through various activities, including desk-bound research, cold calling, attending events, and networking.

• Identify and methodically qualify opportunities along with driving for closure through the various sales stages.

• Possess a strategic mindset to understand and uncover the client's business challenges through a consultative process and recommend relevant solutions to help the client address those challenges.

• Work closely with internal solution architects, project managers, and operations leads to define the most appropriate solution and commercial package for the client.

• Manage client relationships intimately to build credibility, ensure retention, and identify upsell opportunities.

• Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial and contractual arrangements with clients.

• Develop and implement a territory plan through comprehensive market and competitive analysis.

• Develop and own the sales pipeline, manage opportunities, and provide regular updates on opportunity status and sales forecast.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant discipline.

• At least 3 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Language Services or related industries such as Finance.

• Strong experience in business development and portfolio management in the regulated space.

• Strong communication skills and IT fluency.

• Ability to manage complex project requirements and multitask.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• A self-starter with the ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Though a remote position, the candidate is still required to be based in Dubai.
