Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist all Front Office sections to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Guarantee prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition for all guests, resolving any related issues promptly.
  • Inform and coordinate with other operating departments, such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Butlers, on Front Office matters that concern them.
  • Review all correspondence of the day's arrivals to familiarize with arrived and arriving guests and their needs, following up as required.
  • Control room availability for walk-ins and maintain accountability for guests' departure dates and times.
  • Follow up with Housekeeping on any unresolved room discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate reservation procedures and protocols for same-day arrivals.
  • Verify all arrivals folios, check credit standing of walk-in guests, and validate account validity according to company instructions.
  • Ensure accuracy in all billing instructions and guest credit, following up and resolving related issues.
  • Maintain high standards of conduct, dress, uniforms, hygiene, appearance, and posture for all departmental employees.
  • Ensure all departmental information is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Promote in-house sales and facilities to maximize hotel revenues.
  • Understand and carry out duties in line with Hotel Emergency Procedures, inspecting the Front and Back of house for cleanliness, Health & Safety, and reporting any faults to concerned departments.
