Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Talent and Culture Manager to join our team at Novotel Hotels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing talent and culture strategies and initiatives across our cluster of hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations within the hotel industry.
  • Talent and Culture Strategies: Implement and manage talent and culture policies and procedures across all hotels in the cluster.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with department heads and managers to address staffing needs and optimize workforce planning.
  • Employee Grievances: Assist in handling employee grievances and resolving any talent and culture-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze talent and culture metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare monthly talent and culture reports and various monthly headcount reports, absenteeism and sickness reports, and accident reports.
  • Succession Planning: Contribute to the development of the hotel's succession plan, including the internal transfer list, ACCOR Hotels CV notifications, and regional vacancy listings.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor employees as needed under the guidance of the Cluster Director of Talent and Culture.
  • Market Intelligence: Assist in monitoring present and future trends, practices, and systems relating to compensation, benefits, and other employer initiatives to ensure the hotels remain competitive within the local employer market.
  • Delegation and Support: Deputize for the Cluster Director of Talent and Culture in their absence and undertake any ad hoc duties or projects as requested.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR management within the hotel industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proven track record of successfully managing HR operations and initiatives; strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the hospitality industry; excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; team player with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
