Sales Director

The Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Corporate Sales team, ensuring revenue activities and goals are met or exceeded. Key responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the competition and ensuring the team has a complete understanding of each hotel's products.
- Establishing good business and social relationships with the industry and participating in public relations activities to increase sales leads.
- Monitoring revenue and costs and developing strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
- Liaising with the Revenue and Reservations Manager to develop pricing strategies and peak season procedures for the Corporate Sales segment.
- Handling the leisure market, with targets to achieve in room nights, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools to achieve these goals.
- Soliciting, negotiating, and booking new and repeat business through various efforts to maximize revenues.
- Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
- Assisting with the compilation of competitive intelligence information.
- Identifying and targeting new markets for the leisure segment.
- Actively participating in prescribed sales training.
- Ensuring maximum employee satisfaction through monthly and annual performance reviews.
- Working effectively with all departments to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A degree in Business Administration and/or Hospitality Management.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in international luxury lifestyle hospitality, preferably in the MENA region.
- Team leadership, coaching, development, recruitment, and alignment within Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams.
- Strategic commercial planning and execution.
- Proactive, passionate, action-oriented, and result-driven.
- Organized, disciplined, dedicated, loyal, and a self-starter.
- Focused, energetic, and flexible leadership with a vision.
- Fluent in English and preferably additional foreign languages.
- Assertive but with a diplomatic approach to business.
- Top-level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- High-level commercial and decision-making skills.
- Presentation and public speaking attributes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
