Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Legal Consultant to join our team. As a Legal Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice and guidance on regulatory compliance, contractual matters, and strategic initiatives within the technology and digital asset industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to digital asset operations, technology, and other relevant aspects of the digital ecosystem.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including partnerships, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
  • Stay updated with legal and regulatory developments in the technology industry, including compliance requirements, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Assist in structuring and executing token offerings, including Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), Security Token Offerings (STOs), and Non-Fungible Token (NFT) issuances, ensuring compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on complex issues related to intellectual property, data protection, privacy laws, and international regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and developers, to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  • Manage external legal counsel and coordinate legal matters in different jurisdictions as necessary.
  • Provide training and educational sessions to internal teams on legal issues impacting the company's operations and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Law degree holder from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing law with a focus on technology, digital assets, fintech, or related fields. In-house experience at a technology company or digital asset company is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of technology, digital assets, decentralized finance (DeFi), and related legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements in the technology or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Familiarity with international legal issues and regulations affecting technology businesses is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
