Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the enforcement of corporate integrity rules, policies, and guidelines within the region.
  • Provide guidance on the establishment and oversight of integrity controls in local operational processes.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage integrity-related risks.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into compliance issues, reports of misconduct, or potential violations, and present findings to management.
  • Empower and educate management and staff on integrity risks through training initiatives.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities and devise strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with departments such as legal, finance, and human resources to resolve compliance challenges.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and evaluate their implications for the organization, recommending enhancements to compliance procedures.
  • Conduct regular field visits within the region to ensure compliance adherence.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in law, business management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of relevant professional experience in similar sectors within multinational organizations.
  • Proven experience in risk management, ethics, integrity, and compliance within the Middle East, with international or regional responsibilities.
  • Certification as a Fraud Examiner is preferred.
  • Experience in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Background in conducting internal audits, investigations, and assessments to address compliance challenges.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated discretion, impartiality, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Able to thrive in a multicultural environment, respecting diversity.
  • This role requires a hands-on leader capable of working independently.
