Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine administration and maintenance of core IT operating systems and productivity suites.
  • Installation and upgrades of computer components and software, managing virtual servers, and integrating automation processes.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues by conducting diagnostics, documenting problems and solutions, prioritizing issues, and assessing their impact.
  • Administration and management of Windows-based systems and group policies.
  • Providing documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or existing IT infrastructure.
  • Conducting regular backup operations and implementing processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Overseeing data centers/server rooms and their equipment.
  • Managing enterprise security solutions, including antivirus and backup systems.
  • Leading desktop and helpdesk support efforts to ensure timely resolution of all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment issues.
  • Performing routine audits of systems, including all backups.
  • Administering Active Directory domain controllers and group policies.
  • Managing Microsoft Office 365 environments.
  • Configuring and upgrading Windows and MAC devices, managing them centrally through SCCM and similar solutions.
  • Configuring and upgrading mobile devices (iOS, Android) and managing them centrally through MDM solutions.
  • Setting up user accounts and workstations.
  • Providing end-user support (password resets, account unlocks, etc.).
  • Implementing group policies for user accounts and workstations.
  • Administering and maintaining file servers.
  • Monitoring and maintaining disaster recovery sites.
  • Upgrading systems with new releases, patches, and updates.
  • Supporting and resolving software and application issues.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, storage, Office 365, SCCM, virtual machines, and necessary web applications.
