**Job Title:** Executive Chef Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Accor. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Prepare and maintain accurate inventory lists for the kitchen, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and stocked as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Assist the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to Accor's food safety and quality policies.
  • Menu Planning and Costing: Assist the Executive Chef in planning and costing menus, ensuring that all dishes are profitable and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Food Promotions and Events: Assist in planning and executing food promotions and events, working closely with the Executive Chef and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all departments, including Outlet Supervisors, to ensure that all food items are well explained and that all guests receive excellent service.
  • Waste Reduction and Cost Control: Implement strategies to reduce food waste and control costs, working closely with the Executive Chef and other departments to ensure that all initiatives are successful.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to the Executive Chef and other departments as required.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs, staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration, working closely with all staff to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Adherence to Accor Standards: Adhere to Accor's standards and policies, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality policies
  • Ability to plan and cost menus
  • Experience with food promotions and events
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
