About the Role

The Communications Business Partner plays a pivotal role in driving organizational success by fostering a culture of effective communication across the company. This dynamic professional collaborates closely with senior leadership to develop and execute a communications strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: The Communications Business Partner is responsible for managing communications initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration with the business to deliver consistent and aligned communications plans.
  2. Strategic Communications: This role involves aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, acting as a strategic communications resource to drive business forward.
  3. Relationship Building: The Communications Business Partner maintains healthy relationships across the business department and back to the main communications hub, conducting regular meetings with various business departments to build and develop trusted relationships with departmental leaderships.
  4. Expert Consultation: Provides expert consultation on communication policies and updates, serving as the single point of contact on all communication-related matters to the leaders of a designated business unit/function.
  5. Change Management: Works as a change agent and focal point, aligning business objectives strategy to communications strategy with employees and management, assessing and anticipating communications-related needs.
  6. Business Literacy: Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the company's financial position, plans, culture, demographics, and engagement levels, working with the business to define and refine plans impacting people and customers.
  7. Recommendations: Recommends and advises on communications to ensure meeting targeted change management and communication plans.
Business Partnership
  1. Senior Leadership Collaboration: Works directly with ADNOC Distribution senior leadership to develop and direct a communications agenda that closely supports organizational goals.
  2. Communications Adviser: Acts as a communications internal adviser who works with the communications team and unit managers for building relationships and providing resources and advising on the communications strategy, orientation, and best practices.
  3. Strategic Business Partner: Acts as a strategic business partner that can offer recommendations, participate in making decisions, and carry out the communications general goals.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborates with the communications department while consulting the executive team on communications issues and initiatives that affect people and the organization.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  2. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in communications, in-house communication teams, or agency.
  3. Skills: Analytical and communication skills; financial literacy and the ability to use communication systems.
