Education and Experience

  • Associate degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a comparable professional area.

OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; 1 year of experience in sales and marketing or a comparable professional area.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Developing Strong Relationships to Drive Sales

  • Collaborates with external sales channels to ensure that sales initiatives are synchronized, complementary, and not redundant.
  • Builds and enhances relationships with both existing and prospective clients to facilitate future bookings. This includes activities such as sales visits, client entertainment, familiarization trips, trade exhibitions, etc.
  • Fosters connections within the community to broaden and strengthen the customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Manages and nurtures relationships with key internal and external partners.
  • Ensures a thorough and effective handover to Event Management.

Overseeing Sales Activities

  • Engages in sales calls alongside team members to secure new business and/or finalize deals.
  • Implements and supports the operational components of booked business (e.g., creating proposals, drafting contracts, client communication).

Leveraging Market Insights and Customer Data to Maximize Revenue

  • Identifies new business opportunities to meet personal and location-specific revenue targets.
  • Understands the broader market landscape - including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand dynamics, etc., and knows how to position offerings effectively.
  • Secures the most advantageous opportunities for the location based on market conditions and specific needs.
  • Gains insights into the primary target clientele and their service expectations; serves clients by comprehending their business challenges and concerns to provide tailored solutions.

Delivering Outstanding Customer Service

  • Supports the company's service and relationship strategy, enhancing customer loyalty by providing exceptional service throughout each customer interaction.
  • Engages with clients to increase account share.
  • Implements and upholds the company's customer service standards.
  • Delivers exemplary customer service in line with the company's daily service fundamentals.
  • Sets a positive example for guest relations.
  • Interacts with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service standards.
