Spa Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Spa Receptionist to join our team at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Appointment Management: Manage and coordinate appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling with ease and efficiency.
  • Communication and Support: Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information about services, treatments, and promotions.
  • Reception Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a pleasant ambiance for our guests.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments, handle transactions, and manage cash register operations with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with spa therapists and management to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Client Relations: Address and resolve client complaints or issues in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed, ensuring a smooth operation.
Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a spa or hospitality setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Appearance and Attitude: Friendly and professional appearance, with a passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
