  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to ensure seamless section operations, including mise-en-place production and service.
  • Receive and execute orders from the Chef de Partie, adhering to established protocols.
  • Jointly prepare daily requisitions and kitchen transfers with the Chef de Partie, ensuring timely approval from the Executive Chef.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues and motivate team members.
  • Provide one-on-one training and ensure comprehension.
  • Work within specified portion sizes, quantities, and quality standards as outlined in the recipe index.
  • Complete the daily mise-en-place and food storage checklist.
  • Attend daily meetings with the Chef de Cuisine and participate in additional meetings as required by the Executive Pastry Chef.
  • Stay informed about banquet changes and organizational updates through the main information board.
  • Maintain accurate hygiene records and adhere to all hygiene training and SOPs.
  • Pass on essential information to the next shift.
  • Comply with Hotel's Hygiene and HACCP standards, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Requirements.
  • Monitor Commis Chefs' performance, including personal hygiene.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience.
  • Completion of kitchen apprentice or chef training courses for at least one year.
  • At least 4 years in a five-star international chain hotel/restaurant.
  • At least one year in an international five-star hotel/restaurant in a similar position.
  • Sound knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
