Job Description

The First Group Dubai is seeking a highly skilled ERP Solutions Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the implementation and support of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Functional Support and Consulting: Provide expert-level support and consulting to our Finance and Procurement departments, ensuring seamless integration with our ERP system.
  • Solutions Architecture: Design and build the ERP solutions architecture for new business units, aligning with our company's strategic objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage and implement ERP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Business Requirements Documentation: Develop detailed business requirements documentation and map to ERP processes, ensuring accurate and efficient system configuration.
  • Process Modeling: Model existing and proposed business processes using Visio, facilitating effective communication and understanding among stakeholders.
  • Organizational Process Assets: Manage all ERP-related organizational process assets for consolidation and distribution purposes.
  • Strategic Planning: Help define strategies to enable management clear visibility to both current and resolved issues, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • IT Audit Process: Assist in creating an IT audit process for user and legal entity management, ensuring compliance and security.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide ad-hoc SQL-based reports for business units as required, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Requirements Translation: Understand business/system/data challenges and translate them into requirements/solutions, ensuring effective system configuration.
  • Development Life Cycle: Utilize sound development life cycle practices, adhere to established processes, and document delivery of application solutions.
  • ERP Strategy and Road Mapping: Participate in ERP strategy and road mapping exercises, making recommendations and providing guidance as appropriate.
  • Integration and Vendor Management: Manage and support the integration of other business applications with Dynamics AX, ensuring seamless system integration.
  • Vendor Planned Maintenance: Plan and manage vendor-planned maintenance, including application upgrades, releases, enhancements, service packs, and underlying infrastructure.
  • Change Management: Perform changes according to process, teamwork, and best practices for IT Change Management, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Actively seek out and build knowledge to serve as an ERP subject matter expert, contributing technical knowledge and understanding to training programs, support processes, and operating procedures.
  • Confidentiality and Trust: Maintain a significant level of trust and diplomacy, ensuring extreme confidentiality when handling sensitive data and financial perspectives.
