Job SummaryAirgain, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Manager in Dubai, UAE to focus on the Middle East markets with a demonstrated history of successful work in the wireless telecom industry. We need an expert located in Dubai, UAE who has a deep understanding of Middle East markets and a versatile sales skill set for products within wireless telecom, infrastructure, and in-building solutions. The Sales Manager Middle East will help us capture maximum business opportunities available with our Repeater/AC-Fleet/Asset Tracker/IOT and Fleet external antenna systems. Additionally, the Sales Manager Middle East will work closely with both the technical and business community with Tier-1 telecom gear makers in Middle Eastern countries, in some cases at the C-level, nurture them, and eventually drive the adoption of Airgain antenna systems technology to help them reduce churn and limit OPEX.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, build, and manage sales growth with Middle East Tier-1 direct customers, inclusive of driving growth strategy, refining processes, building strong customer relationships, and closing deals.
- Develop and maintain customer resources, discover new potential customers, and organize and execute sales strategies to achieve long-term, good, and stable cooperative relationships between the company and customers.
- Expand the Middle East market, develop and manage various channels, effectively guide the market behavior of channel merchants and system integrators, such as promotion, business channel development, terminal image building, team management, etc.
- Coordinate business between the company and regional distributors, ensuring smooth communication, and working well as distributors to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide business guidance to distributors/system integrators within the jurisdiction, effectively cultivating their brand awareness.
- Closely monitor market trends, and based on market analysis and competitor intelligence, timely propose sales strategy suggestions and update sales measures.
- Establish corporate client relationships with key decision-makers across various organizational levels.
- Lead and manage the cultivation, pursuit strategy, and pursuit execution to include the client pipeline, proposals, presentations, deal underwriting, and other client-facing meetings and materials.
- Identify, nurture, grow, and close new business opportunities which have significant revenue and profit potential that meets company gross margins and opportunity size metrics.
- Effectively engage with new prospects and win deals by using a consultative, value-oriented approach that resonates with C-level decision makers.
- Drive the entire sales process from prospecting through opportunity development and deal closure, to post-sale kickoff with our Partnership Delivery team.
- Create business proposals and close business agreements.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure customer success and business growth.
- Stay abreast of industry dynamics; evaluate industry and business trends and analyze performance and respond with necessary business change.
- BS in Business or Marketing. Technical degree in Engineering/Technology preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in customer-facing sales roles in the areas of integrated circuit, passives, electronic module sales calling on tier 1 telecom gear makers, specifically in Middle Eastern markets.
- Working knowledge of the telecom industry/ecosystem including operators, OEMs/ODMs/System Integrators, Integrated circuit and passives suppliers, marketing, and CPE/IOT selling process.
- Convey a strong sense of urgency and drive to closure.
- An experienced sales team manager with an orientation to quick thinking and problem-solving.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets by running a consultative, multi-threaded sales process with large, complex prospect organizations.
- Demonstrated history of working in the global telecommunications industry.
- A proven track record of strong client relationships.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Established network of contacts within the telecom industry in the Middle East.
- Experience in working with large enterprises and government agencies.
