The primary objective is to develop a robust opportunity pipeline and convert leads into sustainable revenue and profits, aligning with ECorp/ETS's vision, mission, corporate objectives, and directives from the Board and Management.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy Development & Market Research
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and ETS to develop short-term and long-term business strategies.
- Identify new market opportunities and create a strategic roadmap for market expansion.
- Explore new geographical markets or industry sectors that align with the company's strengths and capabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, including competitor analysis and assessment of potential business opportunities.
- Work with senior leadership to establish and achieve revenue targets.
- Oversee the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure proposals are technically robust and commercially competitive.
- Develop evaluation criteria to qualify leads based on potential revenue, strategic fit, and alignment with company capabilities.
- Conduct initial meetings and assessments to evaluate the viability of opportunities, prioritizing high-potential deals.
- Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, securing favorable terms that meet the company's financial and strategic goals.
- Ensure successful onboarding of new clients and projects, facilitating a smooth transition to project technical teams.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders in various segments and regions to support the company's growth ambitions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, including engineering and manufacturing organizations, business groups, government bodies, and economic councils/trade agencies.
- Advise internal teams on lobbying and advocacy strategies to achieve positive outcomes for business development opportunities.
- Promote the company's brand at business forums, industry events, and conferences.
- Manage and develop direct reports through objective setting, continuous support, feedback, and formal appraisals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the business development team.

- 12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or similar roles.
- Strong background in engineering services, technical consultancy, or project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. An MBA is highly desirable.
