Responsibilities

  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Carefully inspect and clean all flatware, tableware, and kitchen equipment to maintain a superior sanitization standard.
    • Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried.
    • Report any instances of concern to Food and Beverage leadership, including any items or equipment in need of repair.
  • Waste Management
    • Pick up and dispose of all trash in all food and beverage areas.
  • Supply Management
    • Ensure the kitchen and banquet colleagues have the necessary clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, buffet ware, pots, and pans required to service our guests.
    • Sort, stack, and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
  • Housekeeping
    • Ensure floors are kept clean and free of hazards and obstructions.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other colleagues to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous Experience
    • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Self-motivated and able to make effective decisions.
    • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Aspects of the Position

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
  • Working in humid and hot environments.
