As a Steward/Stewardess, you will be responsible for supporting the food and beverage service team by ensuring that all service areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. You will assist with the setup and breakdown of service areas, maintain the cleanliness of dishes and utensils, and contribute to a seamless dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to service excellence will be key to your success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Service Support**:

- Assist servers and bartenders in setting up and clearing service areas before, during, and after meal periods.
- Provide support during busy service periods, including refilling supplies and addressing any immediate needs of the service team.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**:

- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen spaces.
- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are performed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and glassware.
- Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the supervisor.
- **Guest Interaction**:

- Assist guests with any needs or requests related to dining service, ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle guest feedback or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Support the training of new staff members and assist with their integration into the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a steward or similar role in a hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards related to food service.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitization procedures.
- Certification in food safety or sanitation is a plus.
