We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at ATRIBS METSCON GROUP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures that meet local and federal regulations.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Educate employees on safety protocols and best practices, and provide guidance to management on safety-related matters.
  • Investigate Incidents: Thoroughly investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Manage Safety Reporting System: Implement and manage a safety reporting system to encourage employees to report potential hazards or incidents.
  • Participate in Safety Meetings: Actively participate in safety meetings to stay informed, provide insights, and contribute to safety improvements.
  • Assess Workplace Risks: Assess risks in the workplace according to the activity of the establishment and all its facilities, including labor accommodations.
  • Set Occupational Health and Safety Objectives: Set objectives for occupational health and safety, and develop action plans to achieve them.
  • Develop Emergency Response Plans: Develop emergency response plans to ensure the organization is prepared to handle any crisis or disaster.
Requirements
  • Proven Leadership Capability: Possess proven leadership capability and experience in managing safety teams.
  • Education and Qualifications: Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Safety, or Environmental Studies.
  • Professional Certifications: Possess professional certifications such as NEBOSH International or National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Have at least 10 years of professional safety experience in the field of industrial operation or construction.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess strong knowledge of industry standards, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage projects and interface with clients.
