Job Title: Legal Secretary
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team at Black Pearl Consult. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive legal information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain files, ensuring that documents are accurately filed and readily available.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Manage calendars, setting up meetings, deadlines, and appointments.
- Assist in department and practice research tasks.
- Assist with billing and administrative tasks, including collating bills, processing invoices, drafting narratives, and creating cover letters.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or diplomas in legal studies can also be beneficial.
- Previous experience working as a legal secretary or in a similar role within an international law firm.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Above-average typing speed.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Currently in UAE and willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
