Job Purpose:

The Business Privacy Lead is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and marketing, ensuring the marketing strategies of the CCM&B department are complemented with the technology required to bring them to life. This role involves collaborating with CCM&B teams to identify Mar Tech/Ad Tech technology requirements and liaising with IT and Procurement to identify, assess, and select suitable best-in-class Mar Tech/Ad Tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Privacy Compliance solutions for the Emirates Group brands, focusing on enabling privacy-compliant marketing activations.
  • Document marketing technology requirements in line with marketing strategies and work with IT and CCM&B teams to identify, shortlist, and assess technology vendors to satisfy requirements.
  • Brief IT and agency partners on technology requirements, integrations, data flows, automations, and safety controls, and manage the introduction of new technology into the CCM&B Mar Tech/Ad Tech stack.
  • Train and support CCM&B staff on using new and existing Mar Tech/Ad Tech solutions, and stay up-to-date on changes/updates in existing technologies.
  • Manage CCM&B's Mar Tech/Ad Tech stack, optimizing investments and ensuring new solutions are set up to work optimally within the existing stack.
  • Implement and monitor data quality within Mar Tech/Ad Tech solutions, and document and track requests for quality issues.
  • Implement and monitor performance and other SLAs of CCM&B's Mar Tech/Ad Tech solutions, and conduct regular reviews of all solutions.
  • Maintain compliance to Emirates Group privacy principles and act as the Data Privacy Network Liaison within CCM&B to ensure privacy and security of personal data is considered by design and default in all aspects of marketing activations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree or Honours (123 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Marketing, Digital Technologies, Digital Communications).
  • 8 years of industry experience in a Marketing/Digital organization with a record of successfully delivering complex products, specifically in:
  • Leading change and building consensus in a highly matrixed organizational structure.
  • Delivering large/enterprise-level projects.
  • Modern Privacy Compliance solutions.
  • Using data to deliver a customer-centric marketing and customer experience programs in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Acquiring, implementing, and operating MarTech/AdTech products & services.
  • Managing product delivery and release in an agile environment.
  • Working with product and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of implementing and managing privacy compliance solutions for marketing consent management (e.g., OneTrust, Osano, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of privacy-compliant first-party data activation.
  • Working knowledge of Privacy regulations and the key considerations for ethical personalization.
  • Working knowledge of CDPs, personalization, and A/B testing platforms.
  • Understanding of AI/ML and its applications in marketing.
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Segmentation and Audience management.
  • Understanding of cloud tools and components (hands-on experience with Google Marketing Cloud is desirable).
  • Working knowledge of cloud security principles.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and workstreams with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, version control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
