Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Sales Manager to join our team at Rotana Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of off-site events and locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, banquet operations, food & beverage management, rooms division operation, finance, and external suppliers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that client needs are met while optimizing hotel revenue through strategic yield management and upselling of hotel facilities and services.
  • Work closely with the Area Sales MICE Team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Conduct site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Manage all correspondence with clients regarding banquet events, including proposals, confirmations, and agreement letters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in catering sales within a hotel environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literate and previous experience with Opera is an advantage.
  • Degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
