About the Role

PrecisionHire Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Facilities and Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall provision of building, facilities, and related equipment maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Monitor build progress, project scheduling & reporting, and ensure project quality.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure permits and legal compliance are secured ahead of the project, and conduct regular site visits and spot checks to mitigate risks.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning by evaluating and projecting future facility needs and proposing options to achieve them.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Contribute to the procurement, vendor selection, negotiation, and evaluation process.
  • Business Development: Develop business cases and plans for further approval related to improvements, upgrades, new facilities, etc.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety Regulations relevant to the industry and keep abreast of any changes.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop policies, procedures, and protocols and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Prepare an annual business plan including budgeting plan, identify and manage delegated budget responsibilities, incur, authorize, and control expenditure.
  • Human Resources Management: Manage human, financial, and physical resources effectively to ensure they meet service standards and that the respective areas of business are meeting agreed KPIs and objectives.
  • Compliance and Governance: Work closely with the Legal, Contracts, and Procurement Teams to ensure Company's compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in all contractual matters.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Assign and delegate responsibilities to subordinate members, lead and review their performance and progress in line with set objectives, and spend time coaching and guiding them to drive high performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years' relevant experience in civil constructions, specifically with industrial, commercial, residential building project management, and facilities management experience for commercial and non-commercial properties.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management or equivalent from a recognized university; MBA is preferred.
  • Post Graduate Qualification: Post graduate qualification in Project Management would be advantageous.
  • Leadership Ability: Must have proven leadership ability in managing and motivating a core team.
  • Communication Skills: Have excellent communications skills with strong interpersonal skills, fluent in English Language (Arabic would be advantageous).
  • Relationship Building: Must be able to develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Additional Skills: Infrastructure lifecycle management, cost control, contract & vendor management, project management, financial analysis, are an added value.
