Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing appointment schedules, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor.
  • Managing the check-in and check-out process for patients, including verifying and updating personal and insurance information.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments, optimizing clinic resource utilization.
  • Answering and directing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and providing information as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and security of information.
  • Supporting administrative tasks like data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
  • Collaborating with medical staff and other departments to facilitate smooth clinic operations.
  • Processing billing and payments, including managing insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a professional appearance at all times. You will also need to be familiar with electronic health record (EHR) systems and have strong communication skills.

Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have 1-2 years of experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems. Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a professional appearance are essential.
