Hotel Front Desk Job Description

SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences, a luxury lifestyle 5-star city hotel under the Accor group umbrella, seeks a skilled Front Office Assistant to join their team. As a Front Office Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient guest check-in and check-out procedures, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist guests with check-in and check-out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  2. Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to guests.
  3. Handle room reservations, maintaining accurate room inventory and managing availability and overbooking situations.
  4. Support the preparation of reports related to reservations, occupancy levels, and guest preferences.
  5. Answer and direct incoming phone calls, handling guest inquiries and messages promptly.
  6. Communicate guest requests and needs to other departments, ensuring service excellence.
  7. Assist with the management of incoming emails and other forms of communication.
  8. Process and explain charges and services to guests during check-out, ensuring transparency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
