Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Manager to join our team and lead the sales efforts for our Critical Communications portfolio in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the Critical Communications market, and excellent relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Mitel and sell its products and services to assigned Channel Partners, utilizing a high-touch, high-value sales model to successfully position Mitel technology into accounts.
  • Develop strategic customer relationships and new account sales across the GCC territory.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline leading to the achievement of personal and team quotas for the Critical Communications Portfolio of Mitel.
  • Focus on direct sales engagement with customers, creating opportunities with a consulting approach for building new business and driving growth in the Critical Communications domain.
  • Pitch solutions to end-customers, working with Pre-Sales or Channel Representation as needed.
  • Grow the business, delivering results to meet or exceed assigned targets.
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, working with Channel Partners and Channel Account Managers to execute deals and develop strategic business plans to drive business in the region.
  • Develop reference accounts in select sectors, prioritizing according to guidelines.
  • Present professional sales presentations, controlling project progress at each stage, making constant sales calls, and following up with potential leads, working with partners to close deals and finalize contracts, meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Manage regional sales forecast reports and short-term/long-term business plans effectively.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the Mitel business and skills to generate new sales opportunities in the Critical Communications domain.
  • Business development skills to define and manage a territory plan.
  • Strong relationship-selling skills within the Government, Public Safety, Finance, and any domain where Critical Communications is a key requirement.
  • Understanding of the Voice/Data/Collaboration/Critical Communications market in the GCC.
  • Ability to work closely with Channel Managers regionally for deal execution.
  • Strong business acumen to deliver predictable business and commit to adherence.
  • Understanding of business organizations and their buying cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Practical experience using influence management to achieve goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the market, customer region, and partner landscape.
