Job Title: Housekeeping and Facilities Coordinator

Department: Corporate Affairs

Reporting to: Facilities Supervisor

Responsible for:

  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the office and surrounding area.
  • Supporting the efficient and effective running of all facility operations.
  • Ensuring the company's standards are met and rules and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Exceeding customer service expectations of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discreet and proficient cleaning of all areas within a busy office environment, including public areas, offices, and bathrooms.
  • Waste management support.
  • Assisting and supervising with furniture and box transfers.
  • Stock inventory support.
  • Assisting and supervising deliveries.
  • Restocking of all facility supplies and ensuring housekeeping staff are fully equipped to perform their duties.
  • Reporting of any repair works required in the building and cleaning equipment in need of maintenance.
  • Basic maintenance requests, such as changing light bulbs, painting, and assembly of furniture.
  • Supporting the integrity of the building.
  • Respecting confidentiality when discussing participant/consumer staff volunteers and organizational matters.
  • Reporting to work regularly and on time.
  • Assisting with other duties as needed and directed.
  • Working closely with the Facilities Supervisor and reporting any issues regarding staff or procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a housekeeping and/or customer service-based role.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional presentation, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Physical fitness and excellent health.
  • Willingness to work shifts and at short notice, reliability, and a team player.
  • Experience in DIY is desirable.
