We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's housekeeping services.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication and Coordination
- Receive and respond to all incoming calls and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Allocate rooms and tasks to team members, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
- Key Management
- Issue keys to authorized personnel, adhering to security procedures and protocols.
- Log and store lost and found property, following established policies and procedures.
- Guest Services
- Manage guest requests and inquiries, responding promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all relevant guest information is communicated to team members and updated on guest profiles.
- Administrative and IT Duties
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Use Microsoft Office products to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Maintenance and Reporting
- Report all necessary maintenance issues to the relevant departments.
- Log maintenance activities and update records accordingly.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
